Comin' to Vegas

Well, It looks like I'm not going to make a few of the parties being put on by some of the guys on the other boards. Instead, me & my best girl will be in Vegas on May 21-24. If anyone feels like showing us around Mead or the river, we'd sure like to see the water. I GOT SILVERS....!

LM1, We're flying in from Dallas. Will be there about 1PM on Tuesday, and we're leaving out at midnight on Friday. On one of the days, I'm gonna go take a tour of Hoover, and try to drive around and sight-see the lake and river a little. When we first started to plan this thing, I was gonna come out there with my boat, but decided that it was a long way to pull one. Besides, wouldn't make much sense goin across mead in a hydro. Also, on another post, I hear that the level is down low, and the lake may actually be closed, so It may not be an option anyway.

the lake is definitely open, just low. There are a few other threads on lake level and boating at mead.

I'm actually starting (as a side business) a lake mead tour day- hotboattours.com. for situations just like this. It's just a fun thing, but who knows if it will work - I'm not quitting my day job!

I'm sure theres others that would lilke to see the lake while they're in the area. We will be at Hoover dam to see it and take a tour on Thusday around noon. If you're available, maybe a "hotboat" ride on the lake to see some sites, or a ride on the river is possible? What ya think.... Email me your contact info, and I can call you.
