I need your help!

Ok, I need your help everyone. The question is if you could describe the most perfect boating related website, what would you want on it?

I have alot of information on this one, and more info to come - but this is for Las Vegas Hot Boats. What if the team at Brainlabor and I created a website for all of the southwest states that was boating related - what would make you go to that site constantly? What would make it better than any other single site?

Greg, Good question. My answer could take up a lot of space, but I will try to keep it as short as possible. First off, this site is the best I have seen. I will start by naming the things I like about this site, then list some things I would like to see.

What I like about this site:

- very clean and simple (but not boring). Hot Boaters are the Hot Rodders of the water. We like to (at least I do) keep our toys very clean and neat, but turn heads at the same time. Very attentive to detail. A good site about Hot Boats should resemble that. This one does. Good job
- there are practical features and they are easy to use; such as below where I am typing right now it is very easy to add a picture (like the self portrait I have included http://www.lasvegashotboats.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif ) Some of the other sites make it a pain in the ass, "have your image hosted, then type the URL, followed by....." ...... uh, RED X!!!!! http://www.lasvegashotboats.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/confused.gif
- I also like the fact that everyone on here is very nice and helpful. I havn't met any of you (which I hope to change some day http://www.lasvegashotboats.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif ) but I feel like I can call you all my friends. A tear rolls down my cheek.

There are many other things I like, but I will move on...

Things I would like to see:

- BOOBS, lots and lots of BOOBS!! Just kidding, well not really, but... I can really only think of one thing I would like to see that isn't already on here (if I think of more I will add it) I love the idea of streaming video!!!!!!!!!!! Since there are no quality TV shows (which I'm working on) or movies (which I might also work on) that celebrate the beauty that is our hobby, Hot Boats (and babes), I think the piece Brainlabor put together on the home page is awesome, and a step in the right direction. I would love to see a feature that allows us to upload video feeds. I think it would be so cool to be able to not only tell people, "yeah, I was out this weekend, it was nice.... blah, blah, blah" but be able to SHOW them, and here what 1000hp sounds like at 100+ mph (or SEE that girl in the white top get dowsed with water, hmmm http://www.lasvegashotboats.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/rolleyes.gif ). That could add a lot of life to an already lively site, and bring it way above par.
- I might also like to see some sections like:
> restos (you can use mine, I'll be completely restoring mine later this summer)
> updates on events that took place including photos ( and video feeds http://www.lasvegashotboats.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif )
- the other stuff is like club gatherings, which we're working on, gotta wait for summer to get a bit closer, t-shirts (maybe some "cute" ones for the girls, etc. I like the maps. Very good idea (I had already gotten some maps, but good for those who don't)


All in all, I think it's a very good, well thought out site. I look forward to watching this thing grow, and am proud to be a part of it. Here's to the future!!! http://www.plauder-smilies.com/beerchug.gif

Once we get on the lake(s) this year, we need to get some group photos, video, etc and give it some "club" content. So far its all "this guy and that guy" meaning everyone is separated...no club footage.

I also agree we need some rackage on the site. http://www.lasvegashotboats.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif The babes area needs more filling, which I'm sure we'll get at Havasu, Parker, etc.

Chicks are a good starting point. The beauty is that chicks dont mind seeing other hot chicks (most of the time), but guys totally dig it.

Having readers rides on the board. I have yet to see a poor looking boat on here that would make this site look bad.

Calender events. It may be a little soon to have a LMHB regatta but that would be huge in the future. Just let me know when, I am in. Personally, that is the funnest part of boating to me, sitting with buddies, drinking beer, listing to tunes and hangin'. BTW, my wife is hot and she digs chasing down other chicks for my buddies.
