So my son started his senior year last week and along with school starting so does the hockey season! :thumbs_up: This past weekend they were in a tournament up in Valencia, right across the freeway from Magic Mountain. The team went 4-0 taking the championship for the second year in a row! Not a bad way to start the season and his senior year!

Oh and he had 1 goal and 1 assist in the tournament! :clapping: Another cool thing this year is Teemu Selanne's son is a freshman and playing on the varsity team. Kind of cool sitting in the stands watching the games with Teemu sitting right next to me! :D He (Teemu) is one cool person, too.

It is pretty funny. All the parents come walking in wearing shorts, t-shirts and flip-flops carrying a jacket. Just doesn't look right!

If anyone is ever interested in coming and watching a game you can find the schedule here. (http://www.smhs.org/apps/pages/index.jsp?uREC_ID=152947&type=d&termREC_ID=&pREC_ID=298912) We typically play on Saturday afternoons in Anaheim at Anaheim Ice (corner of Lincoln and Harbor) and the games are free to watch! They even serve beer too! :drinkers:

If anyone is interested in coming to watch some free hockey on Saturday, the game starts at 5:45 PM at The Rinks - Anaheim Ice (300 West Lincoln Avenue, Anaheim).

And yes, PH, I will buy you some beer as promised. :thumb:
