This Schiada was the baddest one there. Unbelievably clean.

That 25' Howard had a 1100 motor in it that Howard claims will exceed 100 mph. I believe them based on the specs of the 28' bullet and a similar motor.

Thor, do you (or anyone else who saw it) remember the seating arrangment on the Commander?

Am I just obsessed with these damn seats or what?

What seats are you referring to? The bow or cockpit seats?

OutCole'd

The cockpit. I like the two forward seats like the Magic. Is the Commander the same? It looks like only a drivers seat & a wraparound bench.

those are some super sweet rides. as far as the cobra, i want to see their cat with a different gel design. something about that one just doesn't do it for me. i didn't see any nordic pics? did they have a booth? if kurt said he was there from noon to 7:30, he was probably at the nordic booth from 12:15 to about 7:25 http://www.lasvegashotboats.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif

We were at the Nordic booth about three times. The wife doesn't like the room in the Nordics, too small in the open bow area. I agree with the gel coat on the Cobra cat, makes the front look weird, kinda rounded instead of pointy and sleek.

That's why we were there, my girl wants either the 26 Force or the 27 Ultra (she's leaning toward the Ultra now that we saw them in person). Â*However, she says new house first, new boat right after, so we will most likely be rolling our new one to the 3rd Annual LVHB Regatta. Â*God I love her!! http://www.lasvegashotboats.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif

BTW- there were pics of my boat back when it was new in the Schiada photo album. I thought that was funny.

D4$, i think that's INSANE that you'd have to step up to a 29 to equal the room of your current boat http://www.lasvegashotboats.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wow.gif did you check out any open bow tunnels? it looked like there were a couple of them there judging by the pics. i was just curious how they compared to v-hulls.

RiverLife
02-23-2003, 10:10 AM
I thought the open bow tunnels were very roomy. I could have laid down flat in most of them (I'm 6' ). I think the 26 Force had the biggest open bow I saw.

RiverLife
02-23-2003, 10:12 AM
probably can't tell by this pic, but it was big.

digginfordollars

The force had the biggest open bow out of any boat in the show, v-hull or cat. The 26' and the 29' had the same size open bow, the 26' was shorter between the back seat and the front seat and also lacked about a one foot or 18" full width storage space between the back seat and in front of the engine. Perfect for a ski or wake board or bimini top. Most of the other open bows were a little to short to sleep in, even being 5' 10". The Cobra v-hull had a big open bow but the cat was a little small, not bad though. Cobra did one cool thing that I haven't seen anywhere else. The bimini top attached like all the others but there was a cut-out in the hatch that it fit into so you never had to put it away. Just lift the hatch and stretch out the top when you want it. When your done and want to do some speed runs just lay it down, close the hatch and it is safely tucked in under the hatch. No chance for the wind to catch it and tear it off, it wasn't in the way of anything, and it is always handy when you need it. Cool idea.

LV-Advantage
02-24-2003, 06:55 PM
D4$- I've seen that on a Force awhile back in a magazine(the bimini top being tucked away) and also the green and yellow 27 eliminator at the show had that. That is a cool ass idea.

Rude
02-24-2003, 07:40 PM
that sounds like a bitchin' idea! i'm sure it will be all over the place by next season. the open bow in the boat you posted RL looks pretty damn big. is that blue flame job pinlined in green? it looks pretty good in the pic.
