Hope you guys all had a great time. My truck over-heated on Cajon Pass so I turned around and went back home. Didn't want to take a chance out in the desert. We were all bummed we missed the fun.

Bummer about your truck, Dave. What was the issue? Did you get it fixed?

Haven't taken it in yet. I just had the thing serviced too. Including radiator flush and new coolant. Ya it sure was a bummer... Got stuck about 1/2 way up pass where there is very little shoulder. Wife was a little freaked out. I didn't shut the truck off and lifted the hood and it cooled in about 20 minutes. After that the only way I could make it up the hill was to keep it at about 25 to 30 mph. Once on the top I called it quits and turned around.

Oh and by the way it runs fine around here. I got in it the next day and pulled the boat to Dana Point and launched. We ended up going to Catalina and spending the weekend.

Been busy ...... Now I am up in the Bay Area for this whole week. Will work on the vids this weekend. Not much to see ..... vids of great people, great water, great food, great drinks and a GOOOOOOOD time. Also the BEST boating crowd on the water :)

A few thousand of unknowns. Ndawind was unable to attend, DC5 broke down on the Cajon Pass and Pump said he would call me and let me know. I'm still waiting for him to call me.:rollinglaugh:

Trucks being fixed today. New radiator, fan clutch and thermostat. Going to try again next week. Hopefully we will be at Katherine's Landing 8/25 to 8/29. If anyone will be out that way let me know.
