Why I Vote Democrat
I voted Democrat because I love the fact that I can now marry whatever I want. I've decided to marry my horse.
I voted Democrat because I believe oil companies' profits of 4% on a gallon of gas are obscene but the government taxing the same gallon of gas at 15% isn't.
I voted Democrat because I believe the government will do a better job of spending the money I earn than I would.
I voted Democrat because freedom of speech is fine as long as nobody is offended by it.
I voted Democrat because when we pull out of Iraq , I trust that the bad guys will stop what they're doing because they will then think we're good people.
I voted Democrat because I'm way too irresponsible to own a gun, and I know that my local police and a cellphone are all I need to protect me from murderers and thieves.
I voted Democrat because I believe that people who can't tell us if it will rain on Friday can tell us that the polar ice caps will melt away in ten years if I don't start driving a Prius.
I voted Democrat because I'm not concerned about the slaughter of
millions of babies so long as we keep all death row inmates alive.
I voted Democrat because I believe that business should not be allowed to make profits for themselves. They need to break even and give the rest away to the government for redistribution as THEY see fit.
I voted Democrat because I believe liberal judges need to rewrite the Constitution every few days to suit some fringe kooks who would never get their agendas past the voters.
I voted Democrat because I believe that gays cannot change their orientation, but I also believe that pedophiles can be rehabilitated.
I voted Democrat because I believe in the freedom of choice to murder my unborn baby, but I oppose school vouchers to give poor parents the freedom to choose anything other than failed & dangerous public schools.
I voted Democrat because I believe Christians are dangerous
extremists, but I think Islam is a religion of peace.
I voted Democrat because I agree with Michael Moore that there is no terrorist threat, but I think George W. Bush and Dick Cheney are terrorists.
I voted Democrat because I believe we were wrong to invade Iraq even though Saddam had his henchmen to throw innocent people into wood chippers feet first to prolong their agony and suffering, but we were right to attack Serbia because Bosnian Muslims said Milosevic was a war criminal.
I voted Democrat because I think the hundreds of thousands of refugees fleeing Cuba on makeshift rafts through shark-infested waters are all lying about Castro and Communism, but that the (cue the violins) poor Palestinians are telling the truth when they accuse the Israelis of targeting innocent civilians.
I voted Democrat because I think Christians willing to die for their
faith are dangerous fanatics, but Muslim extremists willing to kill for their faith are unfairly stigmatized.
I voted Democrat because I am a staunch feminist who supports women’s rights, while remaining silent about honor killings, female circumcision, the stoning of women rape victims as adulterers, forced rape as marriage and other atrocities in the Muslim world because, after all, who are we to judge?
I voted Democrat because I oppose racism and sexism, but see nothing wrong with racist comments about Clarence Thomas being an Uncle Tom or vile sexist remarks about Sarah Palin.
I voted Democrat because I believe that peaceful protests outside abortion clinics should not be allowed, but that pornographers like Larry Flynt are champions of the 1st Amendment.
I voted Democrat because I believe that the separation of church and state (which isn’t in the Constitution) requires eliminating God, prayer and Christianity (but not Islam) from the public square and that the right to privacy (which isn’t in the Constitution either) supports woman’s right to choose(right to choose what?). However, I don’t believe there is a constitutional right to keep and bear arms (which is in the Constitution).
I voted Democrat because I think Fox News, which employs liberals like Alan Colmes and Geraldo Rivera, is biased, but the New York Times, CNN and MSNBC are not.
