Has anybody here had a pool built? Anyone I should stay away from? Anything I should be asking?

Thanks for any info. I have heard so many horror stories, that I want to cover my a$$.

you should get in touch with D4$, he digs pools for a living. he could probably point you in the right direction too.

I don't know what price range and design complexities that you're looking for but these two pool companies are top notch: Water FX and OzzieCraft. They are going to be on the high side ($$$http://www.lasvegashotboats.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif, but they are talented and reliable. Water FX does almost ALL of our custom home pools and OzzieCraft just recently did some real creative work on a custom home of ours in 7 hills.

Water FX: FRED 604-8739
OzzieCraft: KEVIN 878-4206

If you call them, tell them Mike G. from Bugbee recommended them

Mike, Thanks for your input. I am not looking for anything fancy. I have seen a few pools by Ozziecraft, they build a nice pool. Probably way more than I want to spend. My house is just a touch smaller than the houses you are used to building. http://www.lasvegashotboats.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif http://www.lasvegashotboats.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif I am looking for just something basic, Pool & Spa, no fancy rock formations.

Thanks,
Bill

No problem. We kind of made a mess of your street with all that mud but that's what street sweepers are for.
