What time can I launch and the Marina on a Saturday to avoid lines and chaos?

BLASPHEMY! This weekend is the Annual LVHB regatta...we will all be in Lake Mohave! :)

Site Six, big boats can't launch there, fast easy and free, Or you could just go to MOHAVEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!

Would love to to go Mohave, haven't been there 17 years. We will have some extended family so the shorter the trip the better this time.:insane:

We'll be out this weekend. We have family coming in from Phoenix as well.

The last several trips we have been out, there was very few people launching at the Marina. We dropped in at about 10am and it was fairly quite.

Rod - Forget the Site Six ramp - it's a piece of chit. Slippery, narrow - just generally bad. Launching at the Marina shouldn't be a big deal if you're there by 9:30 or even earlier. Even in past years when gasoline and hence travel wasn't so expensive, on non-holiday weekends we'd rarely wait in any line if we got to the Marina by 9:30.

A great alternate is Cat Tail. 4 lanes that are pretty well maintained and friendly rangers. Plus it is $10 to launch and the same annual pass works at Cat Tail and Windsor so you have a choice. I personally HATE Windsor so we launch at Cat Tail if we stay on the south end and the Marina if we cruise the north end of the lake. We won't be there this weekend but have fun without us!
