Anyone down? 99% chance we will be out there wakeboarding...need a spotter since our kids are too young... Probably partying at Sandy Cove or LVHB Beach and taking runs out for the water toys..

HMMM - if I have my boat fixed I may just make it out for a camping. Will definitely keep an eye on this thread!

As usual, We will be out Sunday. Sandy beach for a few hrs and then most likly wishing well.

How about NOT repeating the wind, or the mechanic headaches, but everything else :)
i don't know that i'll have my boat fixed by then. i'm not going out again until i have ALL of my bilge pumps working :) and my fuel gauges are still not working right. so i'll have to wait until late in the week to find out.

Anchor - it was GREAT meeting and camping with you and the family! Your kids are awesome, and I'll post pics a bit later when I calm down (see other threads broken badfish and yukon bodywork for why).
Weather was great, boat got us to Sandy, then LVHB beach, then back to the docks before it crapped out this time.
It was the first time we slept in the boat - I kind of like that! But the bugs were horrible - nasty bilions of lake gnats!
Anyway - we went out midday yesterday, then back in 9am or so this morning. It was a good fire too! Thanks for the stir fry and the bug repellent Anchor!~
Looking forward to hanging with you again sometime!

Ditto - you guys are awesome, can't believe how much in common we have. Jonathan kept asking if your kids were still going to be out there, he really wanted to play :)
As far as the weekend, it was probably one of the most patience testing I've had since I owned this boat...trailer brake smoking, dead battery, new skids not lining up correctly, then we headed back in Sunday night around 7:30, paramedics were there waiting for a boat bringing in a drowning victim who luckily was still alive when they got to the dock. Story I heard them talking to the medics was .... face down for at least 2 minutes, CPR brought her back. I was standing about 10 feet away when they put her on the stretcher from the boat and she was simply jello. We then had to wait for lifeflight heli to land on the ramp (which was quite the experience for the kids)... wound up getting off the water around 9:15 or so.
I must say, it is a lot easier putting the boat back on the trailer at night when you can see the lights in the water..
Anywho, again, great meeting the badfish family and neighbors, a great time was had by all and many upon many a beer were killed. rough estimate would be about 150 or so,lol.

I have your cuzzi - the poker one. Jonathan forgot it on the beach I guess. We'll have to hook up another trip together and I'll pass it back to ya!
Sounds like it was crazy getting back on the lake for you - scary stuff on the drowning thing/almost.
Now - when you're over on this side of town let us know and we'll come meet you at Cafe Rio - GOT IT?? We wanted it so bad on the way home especially after the front end tore up and boat dying, but damn if they don't open until 11 am. So we hit Zabba's instead - next best thing!

oh, and if you could not tell, I was pretty brain dead the last 2 hours before I went to bed, and I am a cranky lil' chit in the morning, lol. Please excuse that,lol. I am not used to THAT much beer.
