Memorial Day Weekend

I'll be at Mead Memorial, were staying at the Hacienda over near the damn, would love to hook up and meet some of you. But I'm going up with a friend in his boat (leaving my boat home this time) ,so it might be kinda hard to hook up. Would hate to say yea lets meet then not be able to.

Now that would probably be easier to do than to say I'll meet you hear at this time. wouldn't want to take a chance at being a flake since I wouldn't have control of it. I'll just have to take a look at some of the members rides before I go. If I was taking my boat It wouldn't be a problem at all.
How often do guys get up to the havasu area.

not often enough. We love Havasu, but have been super busy since we moved here to Vegas and weekends seem to always be filled with visitors. I'm getting to the point where I'm just going to start saying not unless you want to go on the boat.

Hemminway is fine. Just remember to stay to the West side of the ramp where it is deep. I put in there two weeks ago about 10http://www.lasvegashotboats.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wow.gif0 and I was parking right there in front. Scratch that, I was in the boat and my wife was parking in front.

Thanks I heard that they don't have the dock there anymore since the water is soo low is this true ?

Not true. I parked at that dock a few ago. Just remember to launch on the deep side. Also, dont spread the rumor. I tell all the other to go to Callville. But, all my new LVHB buddies I tell to go to Hemminway.

Look for me in the next 2-3 weeks. I have a 24' Black and Teal Eliminator. It says Eliminator in big letters.

Do you have a pic of your boat on members pg. Like I said If I was taking my boat It would be alot easier to hook up at a certain place and time. but I can't make any promises but I will definitly keep an eye for for you guys. what area do you usually hang out in when your on the water?

I dont have a specific area to hang at because I'm pretty new here to Vegas, and have only been on Mead once last year. I spent most of my time at Havasu.

Man, I move away, and everyone is moving to LV. I really need to start looking at jobs to move back. Any suggestions?

I wish I had suggestions for you. When I was looking I used monster.com and headhunter.net and a few others. Check those out maybe.

so would you say hemmenway is the best place to launch this weekend Thor? It wasn't too crowded?

I would have to say the Hemmenway is the best so far. I just hate waiting for all the morons to jockey their rigs around on the ramp. Use the deep water side and get there in the morning, you will be fine.

Now that I know what your guy's boats look like I will keep an eye out for ya! Like I said I won't be in my boat , I'll be in a friends he's got a 26' commander cat and will be launching out of hemminway.

Don't forget that Saturday May 25th is our Las Vegas Hot Boats Club boating class. I'll be there, as will Greg and a few others.

I'm set for the class. I'm not sure who all is coming up for boating Sun/Mon - I invited a handful of friends from CA, but If I get a couple no shows (I'll try to find out soon) you can cruise with us STV.

I will most likely still cruise to the class, but (I'M PISSED) I don't think my boat will be ready. I brought it home to have it fixed (the MSD brainbox died), but at the river last weekend, the same thing happend again. Something is killing the box. Anyone have any idea what it could be?
