J/K, my first boat was an 87 19ft. elim. with a 454 and a berkely jet pump. All I know about those are - DON'T RUN OVER THE SKI ROPE - it was a long tow back to crazyhorse http://www.lasvegashotboats.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/confused.gif

So this boat is my first jet boat and the question are going to be stupid. So please bare with me.
I see how the boat goes forward and backward but how do you put in natural?

Being the boat is low profile is there any types of water conditions I should be careful in or not use the boat in?

Forward the jet pump Â*is thrusting water straight out the back. Reverse, the bucket directs the flow forward. When the bucket is halfway down, it spits the flow and the boat doesn't move (much!http://www.lasvegashotboats.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif I had a 17' Kachina jetboat. It was OK until the water started getting real choppy on the weekends. Took it to Lake Powell twice and got the livin' crap beat out of me! The bigger jetboats and jet tunnels do better.

just pay attention to the wind. when it picks up the waves come up real quick! i ran a 19 ft nordic o/b last season and survived. i just wasn't able to keep up with the bigger boats.

If your boat is as low as mine better watch out when just sitting out on the water if its rough. I have been just sitting there and had waves come over the transom and even the bow! Wow.
