Sportfishing

Would anyone like to do a sportfishing charter out of San Pedro, Long Beach, or Dana Point later in the year, probably Sept. or Oct. for an overnight, or two night run?

DOES ANYONE LIKE THE BIG GAME HUNT?

Definitely!. I'm not a great fisherman but I have done a few overnighters out of 22nd St. Landing in Pedro and a couple of Cabo trips for the big stuff! Great fun! I was thinking if there is enough interest,we could charter a boat or something, then go out and catch some big ones!

That is a long time from now....I would be interested, but will have to see what I have going on.

Actually, you can call ahead and get on regularly scheduled overnight boats out of 22nd st. No equipment is necessary as you can rent it at the marina. You can also get a one day fishing license if you don't have one there at the time of departure. They depart every Friday night (and more often I'd guess). Some boats are better than others. There catches are reported daily in the L.A. Times Sports Section under Fish Report.

I've gone out of there a few times. Good boats, good captains. That's funny you posted that, I got this whole idea because I'm going through fishing sites to link to BoatXchange and came across 22nd st. last night

the wife said it's cool, so I'm going to try and reserve something. I think we'll need at least 8. Anyone else want to go?
