Has anyone gotten those helo pics at one of these regattas? Are they worth it? How much did they cost? How fast did you have to run the boat, and for how long? Is it safe enough for passengers? Can you see the passengers, i.e, should my wife wear something bright/matching, or does it matter? Thanks!

I love them - but after you have them once or twice - they are all the same. I spent nearly $200 to have a full video done from jtinc.com -- at the DCB regatta this year, they shot about 2-3 minutes of running time and created a DVD of my boat. It includes all of the pics taken from helicopters over the past two years, my choice of music, etc. very well done - just talk to Todd (and or Jerry - actually in helicopter) before you go and say you want photos and then video -- ask to go twice. The copter is very close, safe and you can see what everyone is wearing. One of the things I looked forward to the most when I got by DCB.

We had one at the 2006 LVHB Regatta and it was set up by Pump Her, I do not remember the cost but it was cool, and we have also done it at the Advantage Regatta, I thought pictures were a little pricey ( I believe like $40.00) but worth it and they get close enough taht you can see whatever she is or is not wearing.

Florida Power Boat pictures for the Emerald Coast run were $125.00. Included video of your boat, 18x24, 11x14, 8x10 and some 4x6's. They requested that you go at least 60mph for the shoot to get the best pictures and air time. It's safe, I had my family in them last year at Desert Storm, this year's ECPR pictures were on Friday, kids were at school and the wife was at work.
