Here are some images of my newest RC boat.
since my real boat is lacking oil pressure and needs to be takin to a shop, i went ahead and took my new boat out.
This is a Proboat blackjack 55. I have some custom and aftermarket parts on it right now.
First thing is the custom paint job and sticker set. Then i opped in for the 2.79x1.93 bronze alloy suface drive prop. I run the extended rutters with dual pickups for the water pump.
Its powerd by a ported and polished G26M now 27cc . I have a 22mm venturi on the carb running a 2.2mm needle set for extra fuel at WOT. engine is water cooled on the head, intake, exhaust manifold, and wet exhaust system.
i run independent servos for each rutter (one in reverse) on a 3chan system (comes stock with the RTR kit)

few shots of my other boat. its a 1/8 scale hydro with a stock engine and stainless prop.
you can see us having to remove it from the water. Once i installed the stainless prop, the clutch bell tore apart at the welds... im going to need a custom piece for this thing
BTW - THAT DAMNED WATER IS COLD COLD COLD

You outta talk to Kevin at R&R Prop shop about a prop for that thing if you need to tune it in. He's got a whole pile on the wall and actually used to make them from scratch. He's got a few outrigger RC boats as well as a big tunnel.

he makes RC props?
do you have his number? or any way to contact him. The currnet supplier of aftermarket props isnt the best, and the best closed down. Our selections are VERY VERY limited. thats why alot of my parts had to be custom CNCed in IL.
Im very interested in getting some prebalanced props. I think i want to play with size and keep the pitch that im running...
you can see the images of the rooster are actually scallops from the new prop.. they are about 5ft high. very fun stuff.
I think with a few more minor adjustments to my prop angle, and a bit more fine tuning will get 65 outa this boat.

BTW my two current suppiers are Prather (they went outa bizz, but i purchase damn neer all of there inventory when they closed) so im almost out.
my new one is Octura, but they are lame, take forever to get anything, and no custom machine work. plus you have to get the customer to balance and polish themself

Ya, im going down there next week to checkout some differnt 2 and 3 blades.
He says he has smooth stainless, and should be perfectly balanced out the door, so we will see.
i dont think he is open on the weekend, is he?
i got some octura props for now. and a few prathers, that i stashed away earlier this year when i heard they where going outa biz.
The real boat was almost done, when i couldnt get anything to show me oil pressure, so i now have to tare it down and figgure out WTF.
Im just hoping that i can remove the pan without having to pull the engine again... GRRRR..
We where just about ready to go out, fired it up, and didnt get pressure, changed the sending unit, then gauge, still nothing, pulled the sending unit off, turned it over, and nothing.... :(
