I need a new torque converter Powell turned out to be a pricey trip for me.
Torque converter for the truck, and fuel pump for the boat. Oh well what are you going to do. Both were bound to happen sooner or later. I have had about 5-6 years and hard core boating with no issues. Put over 220hrs on this boat in a little over 2 years and close to 50,000 miles on the hopped up truck pulling 5-9k loads normally once or twice a week.
If anyone has a hook up with a tranny guy it would be great as well. I just want the torque converter swapped. It is not trashed, but starting to slip in overdrive. I got horrible gas mileage coming home, 8 mpg, (normally 12-13) and the tranny temps were 30* over normal towing. So I think it is "ballooning"
