Havasu Feb 1 - stereo assistance

I'll be in havasu on Friday January 30 and Saturday February 1, working on the stereo and attempting to install the water injection system. Adding another 500 watts to drive the two hidden subs.

Anyone want to help out?

No...haven't started yet. I am picking the boat up tonight and bringing back so that I can get the boat off the trailer and start. Wanted to wait till after the vacation to start it.

I will be doing disc brakes, led lights, new wiring, bunk carpeting and paint. Should look good when I am finished. Hopefully, shouldn't take me more than a month to do it. http://www.lasvegashotboats.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/rolleyes.gif

Can't make it that weekend KC, although I would love to help on projects like that. I want to learn how to do as much as I can.

Kev. are you going to do all of the work yourself? Sandblast, epoxy any dents, paint, wire, lights, brakes, etc. ? I want to do mine too, but don't know if I should attempt it myself, or have someone else do it. http://www.lasvegashotboats.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/rolleyes.gif

RL-Yep...I will do it all except the painting. My father-in-law has painted many cars and trailers and has the experience with the gun so I will let him do the spraying. I am not going to sandblast it though, they have told me that Competitive used a lot of bondo back then and that if I sandblast it will take the bondo off too. I will just sand and shoot.

I got some quotes to have the work done and it was about $2,500 to do what I am doing. I bought all the stuff for +/- $800 (almost 1/2 of that was the disc brakes and tires/wheels). I also have a place that will take my boat off the trailer and store it for me while I am doing this for free. http://www.lasvegashotboats.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif

For sure! I need to do it, however, mine needs some epoxy to fill some dents, and will have to be sandblasted to remove some rust underneath.
