Great pics, Tom. Where did you end up camping? How far was the hike to Rainbow Bridge? When we were there last time it was about a mile! :insane:

Just under a mile to rainbow bridge on the hike.

Set up camp in Oak Canyon ... were about 10 other houseboats in there with us. Great protected area for skiing in the morning and late afternoon. Beaches were really good ... all fine red sand.

Host the pics over at a free site like photobucket.com. Upload the files, after re-sizing to 800X600, then use the Generate HTML and IMG Code button to automatically generate the IMG code for images. Copy the IMG tags at the bottom of the page and viola. This way you don't put up only thumbnails which, frankly, suck a$$.....You can only have 10 IMG tags per post though.....

Or, email them to me and I'll take care of it.....Peoples helping peoples.....

Like HD said...make sure they are no bigger than about 800x600. Then they should work fine.

We will be sure to check out Oak Canyon but I would like to be in a nice cove all by ourselves.

You know I've been resizing my pics smaller, but put one up the other day that I simply changed the quality setting in Adobe when I saved it and I can post big pics that way, maybe too big.:dunno: This one is 1028 X 771 but only 497kb.

Nice pics so far TMF - try the photobucket thing - I did it last time and was easier then Scott makes it sound. You can also then share those photos with others too.

Yep, late August. If we can't find a nice beach to ourselves in Oak Canyon I have a couple other canyons that I have mapped out to go to. Either way, we will have a good time! :drinkers:

If the beach is big enough for another houseboat one will surely come along. Rock Creek had some really nice "Personal" beaches way in the back, there was even an island that was real nice for samll group. It also would be closer to Dangling Rope

Yeah, I won't pick a beach that has enough room for more than one boat on it. I am not going to share my beach!
