RD, don't misunderstand. All I was saying is that I've heard, and I can't remember exactly who, but it was someone from hotboat.net that it's kind of a "closed" thing - the conversation was in the context of a link exchange with the OP6C site, and it may have been, and I MEAN may, just may have been RTJas, or whoever does the site, could have been someone else.


Not positive though. I certainly don't feel left out, I feel invited no matter what (he he, I'm die hard, can't get rid of me... oh yeah, except for those twins that are coming, they may need some attention at least for a year or so, ha ha).

Nonetheless, I wouldn't want to invite the world to OP6C, like I would be doing if I added it to the BoatXchange calendar. That would be innapropriate of me. Now, my intention was really that YOU would add it.

Please take no offense, and let me know if I'm misunderstanding. But believe me, my thoughts were only to not invite everyone and their mother who this may not be the best event for, there.... CONTEST #1 - Coolest SandBar Gismo.....Now this is kinda similar to the HotRod cooler contest in the past, but it can be anything. (Just so you know none of the hosts are elligible for any of this) Got a Bitchen Blender, that's painted with flames, and has a set of Ape Hangers on it for handle bars? You stand a good chance of winning. Have a cooler with a set of Zoomies hangin off the side of it and a Bird Catcher? You have a rotating disco ball on top of your stripper pole? I think you get the idea. Something "gismo-ee" that sets yours apart from the crowd.

The prize, well I can get into that, but being that the event is called "Operation 6 Coolers" I'm sure you've already figured it out.

There's going to be 6 contests, and 6 coolers given away (Yes they will be full). Now each cooler will probably be filled differently then the one previous to help it "sync" more with which ever event it's being given away for.

I.E. Best SandBar Gismo, maybe full of Margarita Mixers (blenders etc..)

The only thing that I will say though is it's NOT a family event, It's not a Charitable event, It's a "party." There will be friendly "ribbing" of those that don't show up with the "proper ratio" in there boats though and that "ribbing" might just make it back here on the boards via a Photo and a label "Sausage Party on Board" of your boat.

Cooler #2 will be for the 'Best Ratio' .....We're announcing this one 2nd so ya have plenty of time to recruit. What is best Ratio you ask....Well, that's the Hot chick/Sausage ratio. Don't try to pile all the hotties on one boat just to win.....we're on to that trick. Bonus points will be awarded for those 'special hotties'. In the event of a tie, the hosts will determine the winner.

And Cooler #3..........Long Distance......This will go to the OP6er who travels the furthest to get to Havasu.....And don't try the RD trick of getting lost in the 'Circle K' and saying ya came 3000 miles. This is to try to get some of the peeps from the other parts of the country to come on out to see what they're missing.
