Where should I register my trailer? I've already taken care of the boat - I'm keeping it registered in Arizona. But what about the trailer? Can I register than in AZ even though I don't live in AZ? Anyone have any suggestions on this?

Depends on what the law is in NV. We kept the trailer registered in CA in the event we ever took it back to CA. CA has a law that all vehicles that you own that touch the roadway need to be registered in CA. We heard stories about the CHP pulling over out of state trailers being towed by CA registered tow vehicles. We just decided not to mess with it. Plus, I would think to register the trailer in AZ you would need an AZ driver license. Perhaps not though.

What sucks is to register it here I have to bring it up here - then back in the same day because I have NO PLACE to keep it. They have to do an inspection I think or some SH!T like that.

That does suck. Sounds like NV DMV is just as screwed up as CA.

Chris has it right. The NLV DMV on Carey will be the fastest. This entire process will take all day for you if you have to get the boat. If you can have the boat readily available, I have been in and out of there in about 2 hours. They say that Wed and Thur are their busiest days. They are all busy.
Get there first thing, go around back and get the VIN inspection. You can then park in the lot next to the DMV. I would take EVERYTHING out of the boat and remove the prop. That or have someone go with you and hang out with the boat. Tags for your boat should be right around 40 buck or so. Pain in the ass for the first time, but isnt hard after that.
Good luck

remove the prop.
Unless he changed something he does not need to worry about that since the prop has a lock on it. :thumb:

Do It, Do It Now!!!
like already stated, i'd keep it in az because they are perm. tags. and i believe it is 10 days. it's been a while since i've had to know that stuff but you get 30 days with either a change of ownership or change of address and the other is 10 days. i just can't remember which is which anymore.

Well - we could make a run together maybe? How long is it from Havi to Laughlin? 45 minutes? That wouldn't be too bad I guess.

You register the trailer in NV and they give you the plates right there. 10-14 days for the title.

I don't know about Nevada, but in Calif., you can do all your DMV stuff at the AAA if you are a member. It's a hell of alot easier and faster then dealing with the idiots at the DMV. Does AAA even exist in Nevada?
