I was just talking to my Father in Law on my drive home this evening and he is getting ready to poor a concrete pad in his backyard in N. Las Vegas and needs a finisher. Sounds like an easy job for someone with experience looking for a side job. About 3 yards of concrete 16X23 pad or so..

Anyone know someone that may want to take on this sidejob?

Thanks,
Adam

Good finishers are hard to come by. Good luck.

Do it yourself!! It is not hard and I can give you some tips.

Call the Red Horse Squadron on Nellis and see if one those guys might want to do it. SOme are always taking side jobs.

Tell me the particulars and I can email someone back at the Horse. It will more than likely be next weekend as this one coming up is a 3 day.

If I was there I would take care of it!

When I talked to him Thursday, he was shooting for Today(Saturday), but since I haven't talked to him since then, I am guessing it will probably be next Saturday.

As far as the DIY - It's already prepped(gravel/sand needed as base in Vegas?) and formed, just needs to be poored. He doesn't have any finishing tools and was hoping for someone competent to come in and do the finishing with their own tools. I know a couple guys here in So. Cal but it's a long drive for 3 yards of concrete.

I'll double check Today and report back. For the most part, I think he is flexible on day if needed.
