I had some fuel system trouble. I rebuilt the Carburetor and I don’t think I have the float levels set just right, or maybe fuel pressure problem; maybe the fuel filter. I don’t know but, anytime that I would get after it, it would pull hard for about 5 seconds and then start to run out of fuel. Other than that things went well. I will check some things this week, fuel pressure, float level, filters, and then, back to the lake.

Glad you got to get out there!! I love boating this time of the year. I had the same problem with my boat early last year, I would get going then it would act like it was running out of gas. Turned out that I needed a bigger fuel pump, engine wasn't getting enough go juice at higher RPM.

I have plenty of fuel pump. It turned out to be two things. First, the NEW fuel pressure regulator that I had just installed was bad. Second, the check-valve at the fuel-tank was stuck closed. I don’t know how it was even running. I guess that electric fuel-pump was working it’s ass off.
