Greg - There is no way you could run this size tire (33"). Like Roln20's said, your going to need to go down to a 31" tire. They had to cut some of my lower bumper valance and inner liner. http://www.lasvegashotboats.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/crazy.gif

I had a 2004 1500 silverado crew before my 2500HD crew that I have now. I loved them both--honestly, for practicality, the 1500 was a little better on fuel and a little shorter, better for everyday driving I really loved that truck. With that said, the HD Duramax was the best move I have made--never a lack of power, quieter than my 1500, gets about 15mpg (6" lift on 35's), gets around 14 towing. Price difference: I would say its consistantly around $15K more for the 2500HD duramax. Call Jay Photoglou and get a price--then have him deliver it--you will NOT be disappointed. Get the duramax if you get the 2500 or just stick with the 1500. The new 1500 Crew is rated at around 9000 lbs of towing also, sure the 2500 HD is 12,500 lbs, but a sure pull everytime if you have a big boat or trailer.
