Well, I am ready to put the boat in the water tomorrow: Saturday, to see how things are working out. Still don’t have an interior in it, but…so what. Where is the best place, close, to launch? Maybe it will not be busy. I don’t want to go real far, just in case I have to paddle back to the trailer, though I doubt it. I do not plan on ripping up the lake all day. Just a quick trip to the lake.
Anyone have any ideas?
Thanks,
Ken

Keep your cell phone with you and I'll pm you my number just in case.
Launch at Callville.
G out
i agree with greg, i would launch a callville. once you get outside of the tires, there is room to run the boat and still not be very far from civilization.

Well,... you take the 15 towards LA, pass San Bernardino, take a left on the 10 to Palm Springs, come through 29 Palms, Needles, and Searchlight, through Boulder City, out Lake Mead drive towards Callville - yep, that should do it. Hmmmmm, maybe about a 6 hour tow.
Have a great day on the lake http://www.lasvegashotboats.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wow.gif

ok, really, just go out the 215 and it turns into Lake Mead - Follow that and you'll see signs to Callville. It will probably cost you 10 bucks or so.
damn, I'm jealous http://www.lasvegashotboats.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/laugh.gif
