Golf Invitational???

I am thinking of creating a Annual Boat Bling Golf Invitational Tournament every year--first year would be heald at the Emerald Canyon Golf Club in Parker, AZ. It would be in the offseason of boating...November-February sometime.

There would be both cash and prizes to the winners. Not sure of the cost to enter yett, but a portion of the proceeds would go to a "Havasu Community" charity or cause.

I'd like to get the boat manufacturers, aftermarket companies and dealers all involved--a time to showcase any new products or upcoming products as well. This would be advertised online though the usual boating websites.

Would you be interested in attending?

Do you think the turnout would be good?

What would you like to see done if you were to attend?

it sounds like a pretty cool idea. i can pretty much assure you i wouldn't be able to make the trip down there to it but id be more than happy help in other ways like sponsorship or prizes or something along those lines. i would think the turnout would be good since there has never been a boating related golf tournament that i know of. roll wit' it!

Thanks for the encouragement everyone. Looks like- assuming I get my wish-- it would be around $100 per person including green fees, lunch, gift back and a 20% donation from each to a charity. Looks like the prelim course is now going to be the Refuge in Lake Havasu-- date would be the morning of the "Parade of Lights." Ok, ready for this, I tried downloading them last night and my dumb computer at home doesn't have the capabilities to unzip the file. It used too...not it doesn't :(
