I am looking purchase new front seats, and also for someone in Las Vegas the can do boat upholstery and interior work. Someone realistic and reasonable. Â*Someone that wants the work and will not tell me it will take six to eight weeks. Does anyone know such a person?

Also, where is a good place to purchase the front seats?

Thanks,

Ken

I know, but it does not hurt to ask. I am thinking about buying a heavy duty sewing machine and doing the work myself. At least when I am done I can sell the sewing machine. I wonder why someone could not do their-own interior. How hard can it be…

Guy using sewing machine = GAY http://www.lasvegashotboats.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/laugh.gif

j/k Ken. You are correct, it can't be that hard. However, it might not look as professional seeing how you probably haven't done that much of it and they do it all the time. All I know, is when I had mine redone, I paid a little more for a reputable shop and it has been well worth it. No regrets! http://www.lasvegashotboats.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif

Did you have yours done in Las Vegas? If so, where. May I ask; how much did it cost you. Did you do the entire thing? What did you do with the front seat? I need new ones.

Ken, I have used a shop called Jeff's Auto & Boat upholstery. His shop is located near the Rio at Valley View & Flamingo. He has done a few things for me, and I have been real happy with his work.
Good Luck.

Ken-As you can see from my pic my boat is an open bow. When I had mine done (about 3 years ago), they stripped the whole thing. Once everything was out the laid resin on the floor, new carpet all new wood, foam, and upholstry. They also reconfigured the stern to a bench instead of the old style jump seats. The whole job cost me $3,500. I used a place out this way that does a lot of the big name builders. A little pricey, but well worth the money. I made my 20 year old boat look almost brand new. Here is what it looks like.

P.S. When you do find a place, ask to see pictures of recent boats that they have done and ask for some references of recent boats they have done and call them. Don't be too quick to pick a place. If it is done right the boat will look awesome, if it is not it will look crappy in no time.
