Thanks boys.

Question - How do you load pictures directly into the message forums. I have not figured how to do that yet. The finished pictures are my boat. The one pic with the garmin was on a 25 footer in Gene's showroom while mine was being built.

One hell of a first weekend at Havasu.

Going back out on the 12th and the 26th.

Anyone going to be there?

You already did the footwork by posting them to hotboatpics.com.. All I did was link them(second section).

Here (http://www.lasvegashotboats.com/cgi-bin/forum/ikonboard.cgi?act=ST;f=3;t=3542) is PumpHer's picture posting tips found in the Tips and Tricks section. Focus on the second section for linking the pics.

Not sure if this is a fair question but I'm asking anyway, were the CMI's cheaper to have installed during the build process, you don't have to be specific? I just got a rediculous quote to add them to my boat, never in a million years would I pay that for exhaust.

Logic would make me think it would be as they don't need to pull the motor out of the boat if they can just add the exhaust while it's on a stand prior to installation within the boat. Labor rates in the shop can be as high as $95 an hour from what I understsand so I could see the labor adding them would be somewhat significant.

I looked at putting the CMIs in while building my boat-- Bob Teague was going to install them, so basically the only additional cost was the transportation of the motor to Bob and back to DCB. DCB makes their own tails to fit each boat, so that would NOT have cost me anything additional. I think it was going to be near $4600, so I passed. Is it worth it, probably, but I'm choosing to hold out for a F29 (or F32) or making my current motor 800hp http://www.lasvegashotboats.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif http://www.lasvegashotboats.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif (yes, its easily doable, reliable and only $14k)

akiwi- I'll be at Havasu late on the 11th, staying until the 13th. See you then http://www.lasvegashotboats.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif

Kevin: Thanks for adding the pic to my sig line. I could not figure that out.

As far as the cost of the CMI's goes Teague quoted me $4500 for cost of headers and install. Seems like you can get the headers from 3800 - 4000. Extra is labor.

They did it before the engine went in the boat however.

I think the CMI's would be a nice addition during the build process, depending on your performance goals and the length of time you are keeping the boat (Roln http://www.lasvegashotboats.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif ).

My boat rarely sees the high side for 4000 RPM's so not worth it for me at this stage.

Sorry about the tangent, I think you new boat turned fantastic, we would love to be in the Howared club some day.

We'll be on the water the 13-15th, enjoy! http://www.lasvegashotboats.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/beerchug.gif
