Donnie, talked with Craig yesterday and decided to head to Laughlin that weekend for the LVHB regatta and BETA event, are ya' in?? This will be a warm up for "Boy's Weekend!!" Tonna and Ange will be shopping at Venice Beach that weekend so, we're heading to the lake!! I need to do a little more searching around, but rooms are in the $65 range in Laughlin and there's no cockroaches!! Ange and I usually stay at the Edgewater or Colorado Belle because they have a huge parking lot a block away with security guards watching the boats for you. A shuttle bus goes to the hotel every 5-10 minutes, it works out well.

my hotel room is going to a 25ft daytona!! Â*last year kim and i along with diggin' 4 $$ found a nice little beach and camped on the boats. Â*it was awesome and we plan to on doing the same this year. Â*you guys are welcome to pull up some sand next to us. oh yeah, and i'm glad you guys are going to make it to the party!

Glad you are all planning to make it!! I can't wait. As far as Hotels in Laughlin, my personal fav. is Harrah's, however, what we normally do is stay at the Flamingo since we are hardly in the room at all, and it's pretty central, then eat and gamble at Harrah's. Harrah's is pretty spendy too.
May I suggest the Hickory Pit Steakhouse for a really good meal at the Edgewater! Trinia and I will be there for dinner one of the nights, you can count on that. http://www.lasvegashotboats.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif

Weather permitting I'll be at Lake Mohave between Christmas and New Years. I hope to conduct enough recon so that we can extend the lngth of the poker run, making it significantly longer and moving the event site to the North.
