Father in law

My father-in-law passed away at 0536 today. He was 78 y.o. I want to thank everybody for their kind posts and good wishes from a couple of weeks ago. I shared the thread with him and he was very grateful. The complications from both legs being amputated and the "aggressivness" of the cancer was the cause. We spent Saturday with him and he was doing good. Talked alot and joked around. Monday morning he watched a movie on Pearl Harbor. Twenty minutes later he was hulucinating (sp). Gave him a vicodin and he was out and sleeping. We got a call at 0200 today and was informed he was having trouble. We then arrived at the hospital at 0430. We were all with him when he passed away. I've known this man since I was 16. He was my father in law for 33.6 years. Thanks again to all LVHB members.

Very sorry to hear this, but it sounds like you guys had a couple of good final days, and it does not sound like he suffred in the end, remember if you , Cathy or the kids need anything , do not hesitate to call , Angela and I are here for you guys.
