I'm about to trade my 2003 3/4 ton Suburban LT (52k miles) and go with a crew cab diesel with the Allison transmission.

Anyone out there know what I should get in trade, or if I sold myself, for my Suburban?

Don't want to get overly screwed by a dealer or buyer.

http://www.lasvegashotboats.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/rollinglaugh.gif You better take the scoop and the steering wheel off of that thing before you do or you gonna loose out on that deal. http://www.lasvegashotboats.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/laugh.gif

Check Kelly Blue Book (http://www.kbb.com/) and then I would take it down to Carmax - 2 locations in Vegas now for a cash offer good for 5 days. It's usually a decent offer and gives you some additional negotiating power at a dealer when talking about a trade-in.

DicudMore ... you must work for a car dealership http://www.lasvegashotboats.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif. All I talked to started at 18k and the deal I have with Henderson Chevy for the new truck is giving me 22k.

Diggin ... that's what I was expecting from the dealership, minus the beer LOL

Akamatsu ... thanks for the tip ... will go to CarMax today.

New 3/4 ton with diesel and the Allison tranny + the GM lift kit and etc. for a crew cab in my near future ... then when I'm in hock up to my eyeballs, I'll have a truck to pull a boat upgrade http://www.lasvegashotboats.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/thumb.gif
