Summer Kick off Party

OK, I am wanting to have a summer kick off party at our home on Lake Elsinore it would have to be either the weekend before or the weekend after Memorial day. All day going late into the night. Bring your Boat or just bring the family. We are just off the main lake and have a somewhat private logoon where the kiddies like to play on the waverunners and wakeboard. I was thinking the week before too, but was waiting to see when Wes from Trident custom boats for could bring out that new Boat then he said either should be ok.

Memorial Day is May 29th, so the weekend before would be May 20th, the weekend after would be June 3rd which is two weeks before Regatta, might be a little too close for some folks.

Yep! I'm tired of going into the garage and hearing her complain. She's almost ready. Filters, plugs and some wiring on my trim switch. I have my control buttons in my steering wheel ....... need to clean up a little. Some guy came by a couple of weeks ago and was interested in buying. Offered some good $$$$$, but told him no thanks. This June will be 23 years with this boat. Now I have an urge to try and locate my old Hondo SS. I can't wait to get you behind the wheel of the Elim .........it has a "spinny" thing. As of now you can and should still be able too by may especially if we get some more rain, its about 8 feet deep in our cove today. Only problem with launching from here is the lake pass. The City requires a lake pass $8 for each day on the lake and you can only get those at the city launch or any of the campgrounds. Last summer we were able to persuade one of the campground owners to sell us a few day passes, but they do lose the launch fee so they are not real keen on it. Worse case you launch from the nice campground(cement) and come over here and stay then you can get out of the water here.

Yes we are on south east side of the lake - sort of down by the glider airport - well as close as you can get and still by on the lake. Don't get to many boaters down here so its pretty private. Guess no one wants to idle for 10 minutes not even the Sherriff's who usually hang out at all the popular beaches and watch people drink then nail them when they get on their boats.

In the past we anchor the pontoon boat out at the no wake zone line in the mornings, people come and go moring either wakeboarding or just cruisin' around. late in afternoon we headed back to our beach http://www.lasvegashotboats.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/beerchug.gif http://www.lasvegashotboats.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/drinkers.gif BBQ - play pool and general hang out - some take the boats out again and others play in our lagoon with waverunners wakeboarding behind. As shallow as the lake is (30' deepest) the water should be nice and warm by mid may.

OK - the party/BBQ will be the weekend before memorial day weekend - May 20th all day and into the night. Any of the ramps will do except the city campground is closed. I like Lake Elsinore Marina on the north west side. Lots of room and have ramps. For the BBQ we are saying around 3. Some of us will be out on the lake earlier. I'll PM you some direstions from lake and streets.

Fun4Me showed up for pre BBQ run on the lake to check boat out for Regatta in 2 weeks, then Dangotogo (new on the board) showed in his boat, we gased up and headed out. a Little speed run then into the cove for Strawberry margaritas and Fun4Me's infamous jello shooters.
