OK, so I've only posted a few times since I joined, but it's only been a few weeks people. http://www.lasvegashotboats.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/duel.gif

My name is Brian Miller, I'm 34, and live in Laguna Niguel (southern OC), California with my wife Nicole and 2 year old son Cole. We're expecting another boy this May. I grew up around boats and recently realized my dream of owning my own high performance boat. We purchased a 2000 Donzi 28ZX with twin 350 Mags and couldn't be happier. Plan on doing lots of boating at Mead, Mohave, and Havasu with an annual trip to Powell.

I work in the automotive field designing one-off vehicles for the DoD, automotive OEMs, and recreational vehicle manufacturers. You can check out the operation at www.millenworks.com.

Also enjoy off-roading (when I can find the time), motorsports (wish I could participate, but finances and a wife keep me a spectator only), photography, videography, home theater, and car audio (pretty much anything involving electronics and motors).

Brian, how fast is your boat? Whats the cruise speed at 3200rpm or so?

Haven't topped it out yet (wife's about ready to pop), but was cruising comfortably at 45 mph and have read that the boat will do 75 mph. Â*I don't recall the precise RPM, but I had been keeping it in the 3500-4000 RPM range. Â*Still getting the feel for drive and tab trim combinations. Â*She only has the 350 MAGs for a total of 600HP. Â*The Bravo Ones give me a little headroom if I want to tweak the 350's, but I'm concerned with engine reliability. Â*I'll probably just keep it like this for a year or two and then see if I want to make the jump to 496s or 502s.

It will be cool. A major part of our group is heading up there for the 4th of July. We MIGHT attempt that one. Our 10 day yearly houseboat trip starts 7/13 and then we're back down for Labor Day. I cannot wait! I think I like that better than our Hawaii trips. Well, almost.
