Big game!

My heart is with Texas, but my money would be on USC. What does everybody think?

Texas! USC had a few close games that they should have lost, Texas blew out almost everyone.

You betcha I am ready!!! Matter of fact, I am taking the day off (game starts at 10 am here) and so it most of my shop and we are watching it at my house on my 52 inch JVC HD ILA TV!!!
Texas will pull it off. I am with Chris.

Line is Texas 38 and USC 34.

Texas's offense is really fast and USC wont be able to stop that. If they do not contain Vince then they will lose. His passing game is improving everyday and he has multiple targets that can catch in a double coverage defense, plus the son of a bitch can run like a MFer.

USC has a trophy winner...so what!!!


Either way it is going to be a good game. Lets just hope it doesnt go into triple OT. I think I would drop dead !!!

Definitely, from that standpoint, I can tolerate watching them. I just always want them to lose. And, for the record, this is not for a third consecutive MOCK national championship. This is only for the their second. LSU won the first one.

Edit: I was typing while CTM23 was typing his post so I'll explain my logic about the MOCK national championship and it only being the second. The 'first' year $c 'won' it the AP agreed to be a part of the BCS in declaring a MOCK national champion. As such, THE MOCK national champion was agreed upon to be the BCS champion, which was LSU. Also, since the AP agreed to be part of the whole of the BCS how can one little part now all of sudden be more than the whole of what it is a part of? It can't. Also, I say MOCK national champion because the NCAA does not even recognize a football national champion and until there is a playoff it's not as good as all of the other college sports that utilize playoffs.

Not calling anybody out, just explaining where I'm coming from because I know what I said will lead to people asking me why I feel that way.

Money. Plain and simple. The bowls generate too much money for the NCAA. Sure the NCAA says ts about keeping the student-atheletes away from school too long, but that's jut a bunch of BS. Too much money meaning they, the NCAA, are fearful that the bowls would lose some of their luster if they have a a playoff system. If the bowls lose luster the NCAA would see a decrease in revenue. What they need to do is figure out a way to do the playoff and incorporate the bowls with it.

This game could have easily gone either way. Neither team outplayed the other. Both made mental mistakes that probably offset each other.
