Thanks its good to be here... Don't know how much I'll actually post but it is good to stay in the loop. And all in all most everyone I've met here or on HB are all good peeps. Hopefully I'll run into more of you guys. We will be primarily Lake Mead Boaters from now on. We'll go to Havi for vacations and stay at the Nautical or something, cause we're selling our place in Havi.

Don't rule out Mojave Don. Nice places to hang down there - not to mention our annual LVHB regatta is in Mojave in 2 weeks (good timing!http://www.lasvegashotboats.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif. You should make it down and meet the whole group!

Wish I could... http://www.lasvegashotboats.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/sad.gif . We may be headed to Havi to check on the house that weekend. Not sure if we will be taking the boat or not. But if there is a change in plans we will be sure to fit it in. We will be on Lake Mead this weekend though..
Thanks..

Supposed to rain Fri/Sat/Sun/Mon according to the weather.com site today. http://www.lasvegashotboats.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/sad.gif
The Regatta is Saturday, so you could still go to Havi on Sunday. http://www.lasvegashotboats.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif

Hey Don,
Glad to hear the motor wasn't to serious, but when you were pulling away from the gas pumps at Cottonwood to load up it was clicking pretty good.
If you want a excellent place to boat give Powell a try you won't be disappointed.

We have our place in Havasu so thats where we stomp mostly, sometimes venture up on Mohave. We used to do mohave all the time before buying the house. We really want to do Mead, just unsure if a 23' is capable to handle it.
Hope we get to meet one day, send me a message next time you're in Havasu...before you sell. http://www.lasvegashotboats.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrinbounce2.gif

Thanks for the info. We would love to try Powell one day. Maybe the next time everyone goes we will tag along. http://www.lasvegashotboats.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif . Yea, the guy that did the motor work in Prescott, AZ. said I was lucky. All of the loose parts were sitting at the top of the motor. Punched a hole in the rocker arm. He gave me some pointers for the 496 HO... Hopefully That was the last time (at least for a while http://www.lasvegashotboats.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/thumb.gif ).
thanks Clint...

You got it... Zig. Looks like we will be headin' to Havi next week with Vegas Baby. Still in the air. We were going to boat Mead this weekend but weather doesn't look to good. but if you schedule going to Mead by the weather reports you will NEVER get on the lake (too windy, storms, etc. etc.). 23' is fine for Mead that was the size of our first boat.
let me know if your in Havi next weekend
