I am assuming that part of the picture is left off for a reason?
Sorry to hear that Mike. You and Brandon need to start gambling, cause yalls luck will have change soon and in a big way.
You go to all these lake in Nev, Cali, Ari where there is plenty of potential for these things to happen and nothing. http://www.lasvegashotboats.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/insane.gif

Sorry guys...my uncle died last night, my teenage sister flew in today and I'm getting ready for the unscheduled arrival of my brother, sis-in-law from Cali and my dad and step mom from Minnesota. There's even more going on but all this crap hitting at once is even hard for me to believe so I'm sure some of you wouldn't beleive it!
Quick version: drunk high profile defense lawyer rams his 26' pontoon boat, not into, but through the dock at 11:00 at night (after fireworks ). Dianne (wife) is holding the boat on the other side of the dock with kids inside. I witness everything from my truck as I'm getting ready to back the trailer in. Dianne gets her back tweaked (could have been wayyy worse ), my new boat gets scratched all along the port side (again, could have been worse), the boat gets pushed into the bay with screaming, crying, terrified kids on board. I jump out of my truck and run down the dock and jump into the water with all of my clothes on (pants, etc ) and swim to the boat.
Skipping way ahead, the sheriff lets the drunk ass lawyer off...he even lets him tow the big ass pontoon boat home. Turns out this ass knows everyone in town and even throws monster parties with bands, open bars, etc that all these small city (Cascade, ID ) employees are invited to.
Makes me sick that this prick could have killed someone and walks away without even a ticket. Also makes me sick that if the roles were reversed, I'd be hiring a lawyer (like above mentioned prick ) and spending about $5k to defend myself against drunk driving charges.
I'm trying to be philosophical about the whole thing...it could have been worse. But I'm still pretty pissed.
More to come...thanks for the concern guys.

Nothing edited there, that's the pic of the dock after the lawyer "bumped" into it (his words to the sheriff ).
More pics soon.

PH, it isn't that bad at all. The weather stays good here through September. It's about a 4 to 4.5 month season.
This is the best place to live! We couldn't be happier. Most people assume Boise has these arctic winters and small summers but the winters here are pretty mild.
Oh, and like I mentioned in a post a few months ago, property here is exploding like Cali and Vegas did over the last several years. Luckily, I am taking full advantage of it this time! http://www.lasvegashotboats.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/thumb.gif

Mike, that completly sucks, but I agree, it could have been WAY worse. The wife & kids and you are all OK. ANYTHING else can be replaced.
Hopefully karma will come around and kick this guy in the head.

Mike - I can't even imagine how "out of control" pissed I would be if this happened to my family! I would have yanked the "prick" off his pontoon and beat the living sh!t out of him right there! http://www.lasvegashotboats.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/cussing.gif
I can't believe your luck lately....it has to turn around soon. At least your family is safe. Will they ever go boating with you again? http://www.lasvegashotboats.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif

Glad to hear everyone is ok. Like OutCole'd stated "everything else can be replaced, except your family." Is this a$$ going to step up and fix your boat? I am just curious to know how he acted after the incident. Any witnesses? I hope everything works out for you.

Hopefully karma gets that a-hole 10 times fold.
Sometimes it just isn't fair.
Hope your wifes back gets better.
