Just checked in on some pricing for a 100 hour service for a 496HO mag. Work includes but not limited to:
- new plugs
- all new in line filter changes
- complete lube change
- new impeller
- check all fittings and clamps
- complete drive service including gear lube change
- drive alignment
- complete gimbal service and lubrication

Eddie's Marine in Parker quoted me 740 bones.
Aaron at Absolute Speed and Marine is somewhere between 400 - 500.

Just had the 100 hour service done on our 525 last thursday at Absolute. Cost was less than $500. Yes we have over 110 hours on the engine in just over 14 months. Can't say we do not use the boat. http://www.lasvegashotboats.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif

I had the 100-hr service in march at Offshore, I think it was $550?

If you're stored in Parker I would definitely take it to Absolute http://www.lasvegashotboats.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/thumb.gif http://www.lasvegashotboats.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/thumb.gif

Boats plus in Whittier does all my service. They have also done about $6K of warranty work too.
I also know that Quality marine in corona does good work for the same $$$$

I have taken mine to GT Marine in Dana Point in the past since it is so close to home. Since mine is long out of warranty, I try and do as much as I can myself and save the $$$. http://www.lasvegashotboats.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif

You guys with engines above the 496 HO might want to change out the fuel injector screens every 100 hours or so when you change out the plugs. I did and they were filthy after 100 hours ... I could tell the difference when running ... only down side is that you have to take off the fuel rails and put all back together correctly so there are no fuel leaks when you fire back up ...
