Cottonwood cove?

Were heading out to cottonwood this weekend with the family for the first time. Anyone know any nice coves with a sandy beach?

There's tons of sandy beaches that will fit three boats, just head upriver a few miles and start hunting. http://www.lasvegashotboats.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrinbounce2.gif

when you go out of cottonwwod, head north and at about mile marker 30 start looking left there are several nice beaches between marker 30 and 38 , When will you guys be out there we will most likely be out there sunday and monday maybe we will see you ,Post a picture of your boat so we know what to look for.

Is that after you pass the small basin and it starts to get narrow? I dont know how to post pics but you can look out for a nordic heat. Its black/red and white. See you there.

Yes, as soon as the small basin ends you are right around the 30 mile mark. The powerline is about 34.5 just to give you some reference.

Head north out of Cottowood towards the dam, there is a sharp right turn (this is Owl Point) from there about 4 miles there are many sandy beaches. If you get up to the Power Lines do a sharp U turn head back about 1 mile on the Nevada side and there are more beaches. The lake is high, so beaches are small and if you see a white and red Hallett stop and say hello! Good Luck!!! http://www.lasvegashotboats.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/thumb.gif
