Ok, simple here.

(Sunday AM, we're leaving, I had the dog, waiting at the Tahoe, so I wasn't involved because I'd already brought down two loads of stuff, but...)

Lost it in the room (or accidentally left it), my camera bag, with diamond ring inside http://www.lasvegashotboats.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/crazy.gif they had it, the sweetheart of a housekeeper turned it in.

We gave the girl up front $20 for putting up with all of our calls, and the girl who turned it in $80 for ... well,.... just whatever. Wish I was rich and could have given them more.

They didn't know, Ms. LM1 had put her 8K wedding ring in there.

All is good, for a change, in the LM household!

My sister-in-law when she got engaged was given a HUGE diamond ring in which the diamond was actually her fiance's dead grandmothers which she gave to him before she died just for that purpose. Long story short...she LOST it! They never found it and had to go buy another one. And he still married her! Good thing, cuz he is a very cool guy.

Mrs D4$ bought a cheap silver ring to wear on the boat just for that purpose. Besides those diamonds can do alot of damage to upholstry.

I am glad to hear the Island Inn is the best, because the London Bridge resort, sucked a$$, and I won't be staying there again. I will try the Island Inn next time !!

My wife has the same issues...we generally put her jewels into a safe deposit box wherever we are staying - assuming the hotel has one. If not, then the next best thing is locking them in the truck. That is if she MUST take them on the trip!
