was actually wondering if anyone had ever been there or known anyone that had , because I just recently acquired the following piece of property:
Lot located in the Lake Livingston Village Subdivision just outside the City of Livingston, Texas, JUST 1 HOUR NORTHEAST OF HOUSTON. The lot is approximately 30' x 100' in size and is BUILDABLE. In addition, there is WATER, SEWER, ELECTRIC and TELEPHONE TO THE LOT, which saves thousands of dollars in building costs. Beautiful LAKE LIVINGSTON is only about a mile from the lot. It is the second largest lake in the state of Texas, with approximately 450 miles of shoreline, so enjoy great fishing, boating, camping and other recreational activities. In addition, LAKE LIVINGSTON STATE PARK is just a few minutes from the subdivision. Within the subdivision there are 3 swimming pools, a tennis court and a boat ramp, as well as 20 RV spaces and 10 cabins available for use by property owners for a small fee (currently $10 per day for RV spaces and $15 per day for cabins). You can build a home or install a mobile or manufactured home. There is no time limit to build. The city of Livingston has a Lowe's, a Walmart, many restaurants, and all other amenities.
got a great deal on it just do not know anything about the area . Hell I have never even been to Texas.

Been there a hundred times, I am from about 30 miles of there. Nice lake, not too little not too big. Not too crowded the last time I went. It seemed really huge to me until I went to Lake Mead out here! Sounds like a great deal. I would love to settle down in that area when I get out of the military.
Sam Rayburn is the best lake in that area if you ask me. Never crowded and big enough to have privacy if you want it.
