Was supposed to have my Bachelor party that night but plans changed quickly. My advice to everyone, drink lots of water and beer. This was the most painful experience of my life. Hope none of you ever have to go through it. It's quite painful. I feel for ya bud. I have had 5 stone "attacks", one had to be cut out and that wasn't very fun either. I finally learned the water thing and haven't had one for over 10 years now.

I sat in on a nutrition expert who recommends lots of calcium and water to prevent kidney stones. You'd think calcium would be the wrong thing to take but he claimed that kidney stones were the body's way of attacking itself when it was calcium deficient. That's his claim.

The water thing is what I said DRINK LOTS, from what I've heard you get stone's from getting hot and dehydrated and not drinking enough water. Even though they are calcium depoisits you don't get them from milk or any dairy products. kinda strange.

A friend of mine had one a few months after she had her first kid, she said having the kid was 100x easier then passing the stone.

Not sure bout the water thing, how bout if i drink 10-15 12oz cans of mountain dew a day, will that do? hehehe

I have heard that when you are peeing and pass a stone that it shoots out like a BB. Is this true or just an urban legend?

mine didn't but I passed one of the smaller stones, actually I believe it was a small piece of one of them.
