We're not heading out until May 14, and will be on the water Sundy and Monday. It's the first trip with our new baby girl, so not sure how much boat-time we'll be getting. She will be 5 1/2 months then, should be good to go.

Saturday was beautiful on the lake! HD and HH graciously let me tag along on their luxury liner as we are now boatless for the next few months. Thanks again guys and I owe you a boat wipe down next time!

BBQ at slowinhavasu's house (HotBoat forum) was terrific as well.

Delivered the old boat ot my buyer on Friday and it didn't hurt at all seeing it go.

Sunday was great! Great seeing some peeps I had not seen in a while. D4$ and TM cruised down to the Springs after we did for some lunch. Hope their service was better than ours though.:furious3 Â*We stopped off in a cove to do some tubing on the way back and saw TM and D4$ go flying by looking good!

D4$ and Rude 235 had an interesting day at the marina to say the least. And no, the problem wasn't from the marina or any of it's employees. The problem was from a 33 Daytona, or is it a Dayton http://www.lasvegashotboats.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/rollinglaugh.gif , that went unpiloted in the marina while in reverse. Ok, here is what I remember from the story, Kurt (D4$ ) or James (Rude) will have to either complete or re-tell it correctly. http://www.lasvegashotboats.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif

While D4$ and Rude were launching D4$'s boat, there was a 33 ft Daytona that was launching as well. Apparently they were tested for noise, must have passed, and somehow one of the mototrs was left on and in reverse. As Rude was pulling out D4$'s tow vehicle he heard someone say "OMG, your boat" He looked back and thought it had just floated off of the trailer. Well, upon further inspection Rude saw that it not only floated off of the trailer, but that one of the motors was on and the boat idling backwards, unpiloted, in the marina. The Daytona eventually ended up against a pole on one of the docks, missed all of the boats that were moored in their slips. D4$ got over to the Daytona from his boat, hopped in it, put it in neutral and shut the motor off. I guess the guy who owns the 33 Daytona by this time was already swimming over to his boat, no es bueno when you know the motor is on AND in gear IMHO. http://www.lasvegashotboats.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/eek3.gif What was he going to do, hop up on the sponson? They're like 4 feet off the surface of the water on a 33. Â* http://www.lasvegashotboats.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/headshake.gif Anyway, apparently a Magic deck boat picked the guy up and took him over to his boat. Rude said the guy did not thank D4$ or the people in the Magic. Mistakes happen, but to go through that, get that type of help, and not even say thank you!?!?!?! http://www.lasvegashotboats.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/headshake.gif Â*More money than brains I guess.

Oh, and the joke about it being a Dayon is that on one side of the boat it says 33 Dayton instead of 33 Daytona. Which is truly interesting because the guy has it all decked with owner/operator: and throttles: stickers. We surmised he could not afford the last 'A' Â*http://www.lasvegashotboats.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/rollinglaugh.gif

Oh, and another thing, KC said that one of the 44 ft Magic cats caught fire on the way back from Steamboat about 2:30 Saturday. Did not burn all that much I suspect as there were no injuries from what KC said, but still, not a good thing.

Another great weekend. Little windy on Saturday and then even worse on Sunday. Saw Kurt, KC, Mark, and Bill on Saturday in the channel. Then saw Kurt and Kevin in the channel on Sunday.
