Folks sell used boats for a reason ... some good deals are to be found, but do alot of investigating re: ownership and use, and get the hull and powerplant surveyed ...

Let me see here, a hefty six figures new and 30-40k used? Hhmmm ... and if the deal appears too good to be true, it generally is ...
