Cool ... I'll be putting in at Lake Mead marina, grab a few carbs for breakfast, then out to burn some gas ... I'm anxious to get out to Sandy Cove, HotBoat Beach, and other points to see changes due to return of some water levels.

That is where i am putting in. Not until around 12 or 1. I do not know where all those areas are you talk about. I do know about Sandy Beach before the narrows that is all.

T&B -- I am assuming that you are not planning on being boatless, right???

ybull -- There's a whole big great lake out there in the Northern basin ... worth exploring and getting to. Once it warms up Sandy Cove becomes a hole ... too many violent jerks, trash strewn about, and boater ignorance ... I enjoy it now and in late fall, and then it is off through the narrows and parts beyond.

It is nice, but that is a lot of fuel to burn. There are several nice spots in the Northern end of the lake. I think all the "riff raff" thinks the lake stops at Wishing Well.
