Wow! What a fantastic sunset, unfortunatly I did not have a camera.

Yes, foolish me, I did brave the weather and drove from LA to Havasu on Saturday morning. Seeing weather move across the desert was worth the drive alone - the sunset that I witnessed on Saturday night was amazing. It had rained all day turning the streets of Havasu into an off road obstacle area, then just before sunset the sun cut through the cloads and lit up the mountain range with a warming orange glow.

No, I did not take the boat to the lake. I had intended to make this a quick one day trip, decided to figure out why a speaker was not working - and the rest is history. One of my amps had broken free and was thrashing everything it could as it attempted to escape. Spent the day designing and installing two small bracket systems to hold the stereo amps, rewired most of the power for the amps. I ended up tossing the damaged amp and ordered all new amps to balance out my system. For a few minutes it sounded amazingly full, then the damaged amp died. I'll post some photos of the amp brackets after installation next week.

Does anyone know where I can get a shock mounting system for the stereo head unit?

Thur and Fri the weather was so ugly, then as soon as sat hit is was bout the most beautiful weather ive seenthis summer. A tad cooler, huge clouds lots of sun. I was really bummed i didnt go out. Then we go meet up with greg and the LVHB crew to find out they ditched us. and whaaaa whaaaa whaaaaa. At least i got to watch a special on boating onthe discovery channel on sunday while cleaning house. hehehe Anyone have as much fun as me this weekend?

at least i'm not the only one who was thinkin', "why the hell ain't i at the lake?!" sunday seemed like it was pretty calm too. the weather line said it was only 6mph winds at the lake. that would probably have been the smoothest water i've seen all season! oh well.
