If peeps are up for July 30th on Mojave I can be the organizer(with help of course) If we are going to do it in June then I'm out. Too much kid stuff in the way. Late July is great,IMHO, water temps are up, winds are down, no school, etc. If we get started now and let Cottonwood and Katherines know that we are going to be there we can probably get a little prefreable treatment on rooms or campsites (gobble up the cancelations).
OK, there it is, I will do it but only late July and Mojave (even though I voted Mead) and if peeps think that is OK (cuz I don't think Dan really wants to do it.

A good idea for Cottonwood would be for those peeps that would like to stay there overnight is to get on the standby list. I did that for the event in October of 2003 (I think) and got a room in the last few weeks before that weekend. Katherine's has that little motel that allows you to reserve a slip with your room - or so they used to be. It was the only way to reserve a slip at Katherine Landing. Also, there's the Laughlin possibility.
