Been paying $1.93 in Mesquite for 3 weeks now, that place was always .20 more than Vegas until a new station opened.

Cheapest I've paid lately is around $2.35, since some A hole sold me a car that requires premium. http://www.lasvegashotboats.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/Thanx.gif

At least your getting decent mileage in that thing. When I had it, I would drive the piss out of it http://www.lasvegashotboats.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wow.gif and still got 18 mpg! http://www.lasvegashotboats.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/thumb.gif Not too shabby when doing redline shifts all the time! http://www.lasvegashotboats.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/thumb.gif

I prolly did more freeway than you. I used to get great mileage, especially when I would set the cruise at about 110 mph! http://www.lasvegashotboats.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/aktion033.gif

You know now that you mention it, we did get great mileage on the way home from Vegas last time. Think we averaged around 100 and got near 20 mpg. http://www.lasvegashotboats.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/thumb.gif
I'm happy if the Excursion gets 12 mpg, it sucks filling the beast up with 44 gallons of premium.

Just wait until spring when everyone is filling up boat and truck to the tune of 100-150 gallons a pop. Prices will be jacked right back up to new highs ... the only consolation I have seen so far is my regular gas station feels guilty and gives us 5-6 bags of free ice after each such fillup. Only a token but every little bit helps ...

I can't get over about 10.5 - 11 mpg or so! http://www.lasvegashotboats.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/traurig001.gif
P.S. Why do you run premium? Most newer cars recommend 87 octane, unless it is a high performance package.

We have to run premium in the 540i as well. Though occasionally I drop that back to the midrange stuff for a couple of tanks.
Paid $1.87 last weekend in Havasu.

Paid $1.93 on Saturday at Costco.
Granted the $1.87 was in Mesquite, I haven't checked Costco in a while, but have to fill the truck up this week, hopefully it's even cheaper now.
