What the hell? An ad popped up on my site for that damn video surveilance camera thingy. Those bastards can't do that can they?

Who hosts your site? Pop ads can be written so they dont pop up for a certain amount of time. So you coulda been on a site that activated it....and twominutes later you were here and it poped up.

And yes, there is an easy way to turn your pop ads 'off' if anyone wants to know. We all hate em, but no you dont have to deal with em =)

Easiest thing is download Opera web browswer and use it instead of internet explorer. It has a preference where you can just refuse pop up windows andthe browser is a hell of a lot faster.

Or, if you MUST use internet explorer, turn off you Java and ActiveX controls. Of course, if you buy a lot of stuff online dointhis will mess up the purchase process.

Tools>InternetOptions>Security>CustomLevel button

Then play with those options for a while till you get it set to how you want it. DOnt worry, if you screw somethin up just hit the reset defaults button. Then you can surf all the porn sites ya want =)

Could be that one attached to you in the past. The ad technology is awesome these days. They have lurking ads that will pop up no matter what site you go to.
