Canceled my plans ... just looked at the weather ... lots of wind and afternoon Thunderstorms. Last weekend I was finishing up the drive fix and lost out on great weather. This weekend, I'm psyched to get out and the weather has turned.

Who EVER listens to the weather man? They are rarely correct, both in the kind of weather and the time that it may (or may not) happen.

I'm goinog to think good thoughts, get up early tomorrow, and see ... if it is already blowing, then I stay in. If not, we'll see ... I love it out in all weather, but I've had my wife and kids out when the heavy rains come and the lightning is hitting the lake all around and it's pretty rough ... something they would rather avoid ...

I'm up in the northwest ... off Lone Mountain ... was calm when I woke up, then became a little breezy ... still ok weather here, but when I called Lake Mead marina they said it is beginning to pick up and the forecast is for 30-40 mph gusts by 11:00 and thunderstorms later in the day. By the time I get to the marina it will not be good ...

Tomorrow is supposed to be more of the same I guess ... agreed, looks like October for us. Frustrating to have the boat working and full of gas just sitting there ...
