Lets get this started! Cooler temps and shorter days, but it should once again be an amazing trip.

I would like to be there on Thursday night, camp Friday, Saturday and then pull off on Sunday.

We'll be out if everything goes well. Found out that I blew the engine coupler to the outdrive, the boat should be fixed on Wednesday.

OK,, we're getting closer and if at all possible, could we get a who's who on who's showing up so we know what size boat to get. The tentative plan is to park the houseboat at the courtesy dock at Wahweap on Thursday night and head out sometime Friday morning. Any input would be appreciated!!

Suggestion,, Get your stuff up to Tuba City like the Wed evening before and we'll just load it up for you and haul it to Page,, put it in the boat. Just a thought

First it was the coupler, then it was the u-joints, now it's the gears and a bad upper and lower case. Seems they missed the last 3 items when they gave the first quote to the insuance. The shaft banged the case bad when it broke now they are up to $2700 from the original $800. Insuance is sending a marine surveyer out to the shop to check it out for sure.

I really don't think space is going to be an issue,, between the 59 fter and either the 48 fter (if the cutlass bearings get replaced in time, they are on order) or the 31, we should be able to figure something out... and if someone else shows up who knows how to drive, I might even set back and party my way up there...

It is gonna get a little cold at night for shure. Nothing a big fire wont fix. Good thing about a house boat is we can tie up to and exit on to, never getting wet. If its gonna rain you at least have to see the water falls off the canyon walls.

hey guys, i'm a member of scream & fly and an avid hotboater. my current rig is a 99 dcb mach 22 with a pro max 300 running 93 mph on gps w26 + gals. of fuel and gear in the boat . we live in southeastern ct. and use the boat thruout the northeast including canada.my wife and i are flying out fri. evening for a long weekend. we (i) would love to check out the hot boat scene while we are there ,as i would like to make our next trip there with the boat. we are on the strip in vegas staying at the paris .any suggestions from your board members would be greatly appreciated . i believe we fly out tues late evening or early wed. morning (12th or 13th). i would also like to extend an invite to any of you if you are in ct. a boating season , at least the warm part is about over. thanks

I know you want to park everything at Wahweap ramp, the only issue will be wether or not the parkies will allow it. If we end up being at T dock, you can drive right up to it and there is parking there as well. if push comes to shove, we might end up loading it up at the ramp and moving it if the Dock cops have an issue... Let's just play it by ear. The houseboat will be picked up by 2 pm tomorrow afternoon.
