Many of the 'custom' guys charge extra. I know for a fact that Schiada does not. One price, within reason for most extras. I was asking them about their 24'er when I bought mine and they said they could do anything and it wasnt an extra charge. Ultra didnt charge me for stuff they normally do. Cobra was BS, as was Advantage and Eliminator. They wanted full mark up for everything and didnt give a shit. Shockwave was cool about that stuff when I talked to them too. Lavey, well, lets just say they have some very optimistic salesmen and they are VERY proud of their boats. No thanks Kev, I like my mini cabin but it doesn't look bad.

Jason, I'm sure if someone really wanted one a couple years ago they'd have been happy to build it providing the buyer was willing to wait while all the bugs were worked out of the process.

I think that while the mid-cabin thing is still the hottest selling configuration

Howard introduced a 25 walkthru this year and are just now finishing up the 2nd--not as big of a seller they expected it to be. When my Dad ordered his Schiada in '92 the bottom was pretty much done, but he even at that he had the option of flattening out the last 2 or 3 feet, taking out the hook, etc. The top side was pretty much an open canvas. He pointed out how they normally configure them, but said to imagine it open and design whatever confirguration we wanted. That's also what the guy did that I bought my boat from, he had them do the seating configuration completely different.

The only part they used to REALLY lag in was the graphics. They would do whatever colors you wanted as long as it was stripes. Lee said he wanted Schiada to keep the "clean look" image.
