Well instead of the weekend pass with my eye candy friends, I brought my Dad to meet Greg and the crew. He bet me greg would mortgage his house and purchase a larger boat in the near future. The chop was a little rough for 65 year old dad, He's used to cruisin in a 36 footer in Dana Point Harbor. The chop aint bad in that thing. We had a blast, Sorry we had to split early, Had to go out to dinner with my better half.

Hey Dusty,

It was great to meet your dad and hang out with you for a bit. The water wasn't near as bad going back in as it was in the morning, but still a little rough!

Your dad is on to something there! Hopefully you'll see me in a 29 Lavey or something next year, who knows.

Waterndog, it was great to meet up with you again and actually have some time to BS a bit!

D4$, good, as always, to see your crew.

Travis, well you know... thanks for the coozy and my cell phone back, can't wait to get the bill!

once again i'm a day late and a few $$ short. we made it out on sunday. the morning wasn't too bad, but by about 3pm the water was HORRIBLE. at least for my boat. we had some pretty good hang time on a number of occasions. before i forget, where is wishing well? i heard a few guys talking about heading that direction from sandy beach. is that another nice beach area? anyway, we're really gonna try to make it out next SATURDAY and try to actually hook up with some of you guys.

oh boy, we were gonna take next weekend off, but if you're both goin out then we will probably just have to suck it up and go out http://www.lasvegashotboats.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif http://www.lasvegashotboats.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif http://www.lasvegashotboats.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif

We've been out on the lake every weekend for over 2 months now, not that I'm complaining. I remember early in the season, I think it was RL giving me crap about not going out. HA - who's goin out now bro (RL). http://www.lasvegashotboats.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif

Wishing well is a canyon, I'm not certain which one, but a canyon and I don't think it has a beach, people just float. Maybe Thor can chime in here and let us know, because I know he knows where it is.

Later all!

Wishing Well is on the Arizona side, about half way through the narrows. It is the canyon on the right just before you see the no skiing bouys going into the virgin basin. If you follow it way back in there is some huge vertical cliffs(Powell like), good cliff jumping but very hard to tie up, definate fiberglass buster.

LM,
In your new house, you MUST get the LOW-E windows. I had them in mine (2700 s.f) and my power bill for july and august was $110 and I like it cold. No $hit.

Wishing well is about 1/2 to 1 mile from the end of the narrows on your right hand side. The boats start hanging around 10:00 or 11:00 then when you see the big boys going past, it is time to head to LVHB beach. http://www.lasvegashotboats.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/cool.gif
Pretty cool place.

I saw Laveyman in his ride at the HB offshore race yesterday. Man people spend some unreal cash on their boats.

It was nice meeting you guys out at Lake Mead over the weekend. This is Tom and I was in the Commander 2300LX next to Dustys. I get out to Lake Mead a couple of times a year but mostly boat at Mohave and Havasu. I do read the threads here almost as much as the HotBoat site. I will be checking this much more frequently now that I can place a few faces with names. Greg, Mike, Dusty, Katrina and the others that were there thanks for letting us know about the get together. With the girls on the boat we had to make many stops coming back to sandy beach and kind of got seperated from all of you. There were some very nice looking boats out there in your group. Hope you guys enjoyed the music from my boat http://www.lasvegashotboats.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif Take caqre, boat safe and we will see each other again some day. later

Hey Tom!

Thanks for checking in. It was great meeting you and your crew. I know how the "many stops" go! We figured that as we were driving by.

Great looking boat you got and a super system! Thanks for bumpin' the tunes for us.

Hope to catch up with you again,

Later

Greg

It was my pleasure Greg. I had to play some of the funk/rap/r&b after hearing Dustys tunes for a while....lol Just kidding Dusty. I did not know if you guys would like them or not some I am glad you enjoyed them.

Can anybody instruct me on how to post a pic? I tried it as a file attachment and it came back with an error message and deleted my reply....aaaaggggghhhhh!

Dusty, did you get any pics of my boat out there that you could post? I would appreciate it.

I will definitley hanging out another time with LVHB's.

make sure there's no spaces in the file name, then just post, click browse and attach the file. I put them on my desktop first so they're easy to find, then delete them or move them back.
